Abstract of "Dead Letters: Wills and Poems" (1982)
- Reviews the dialectic of intentionalism vs. anti- intentionalism in
the theory and practice of interpreting last wills and testaments, as analogous
to the perennial dispute about the bearing of authorial intention on the
interpretation of poems.
