• Reviews Richard Posner's Law and Literature (Harvard UP, 1988), criticizing especially his Johnsonian construction of legal and literary canons, and his positions (respectively intentionalistic and anti-intentionalistic) concerning legal and literary interpretation; more broadly surveys current discussions of relations between law and literature.
